Amsterdam, October 20 2008 – In 2007, Schuberg Philis, a provider of mission critical IT outsourcing services, realised a turnover of more than € 20 million, a 53% increase compared to the previous year. The company has achieved a net profit margin of 13%. Its contracted future revenue amounts to € 56.6 million, a 167% increase from 2006.
Furthermore, Schuberg Philis attained, for the third consecutive year, the highest possible customer satisfaction rating in the field of infrastructure management outsourcing in the independent study Outsourcing Performance 2008. This study by EquaTerra/Giarte is based on evaluations by Chief Information Officers (CIOs) of their outsourcing service suppliers. All major outsourcing suppliers have been included in the study, which covers 674 outsourcing contacts with a total value of 15 billion Euros. According to EquaTerra/Giarte, this figure represents approximately 75% of the Dutch outsourcing market.
“Each consecutive year, Schuberg Philis continues its rapid and strong growth, and 2007 is no exception,” comments Pim Berger, the Managing Director of Schuberg Philis. “The financial results and high customer satisfaction ratings underscore our strong relations with our customers, employees and partners.”
Schuberg Philis is a specialised service provider in the field of mission critical outsourcing services. It exclusively addresses company applications which require 24/7 availability and guarantees 100% uptime for such systems. Schuberg Philis is compliant with the highest standards for risk management and, at the same time, can quickly and flexibly act on customer needs. These are prerequisites for its customers, that operate in strongly regulated markets such as financial services and the energy market.
“The outsourcing market is evolving quickly. We have noticed that an increasing number of companies are considering outsourcing their IT to multiple specialist suppliers rather than a single, one-stop-shop service provider,” Berger explains. “We are convinced that this multi-sourcing approach will result in more innovative and improved service provision and that consequently many companies will experience enduring high levels of satisfaction with regard to their outsourcing partners. The results of the EquaTerra/Giarte Outsourcing Performance 2008 study confirm this trend.”
