Amsterdam, July 20 2010 – Rabo Mobiel has signed a new outsourcing contract with Schuberg Philis. Schuberg Philis is responsible for the website, web shop and mission critical backoffice systems of Rabo Mobiel. The two companies have a strong focus on realizing the main strategy of Rabo Mobiel: becoming the standard for mobile financial services in The Netherlands.
“Rabo Mobiel has acquired a strong position on the Dutch market,” says Naomi Bisschop, General Director of Rabo Mobiel. “With 200.000 customers we are ready for the next phase: developing and expanding the mobile financial channel. In the future consumers can replace all cash cards and access cards with their mobile phone. Mobile banking will also be possible. With services like Mobielbankieren (mobile banking), SMS Betalen (payments using text messages) and Mobiel parkeren (mobile parking) we are on the right track.”
