Schuberg Philis outsourcing partner of Bizner Bank
Rabobank first to launch the business internet bank Bizner
Amsterdam, 6 March 2007 - Under the name Bizner, on February 13 of this year Rabobank launched the first online business bank which allows businesses to open accounts, take out loans, activate bank and credit cards or negotiate terms of guarantee and forward deposits by themselves. With Bizner, businesses may obtain or modify any financial base product 24 hours per day online. Bizner is the first business Internet bank without account managers and without offices, but with self-service instead.
More than 80% of the Dutch small and medium-size businesses settle their banking affairs with financial base products such as loans, bank guarantees and forward deposits. “Regarding all these products, we asked ourselves whether it should be possible for the businesses to administrate these by themselves or if we should do this for them”, explains Bizner Director Frank Klemann. In all cases, it appeared to be possible to develop products which the businesses could use directly and independently. In this way, the customer becomes his own banker with a press on the button.
Time-consuming tasks such as inviting offers, sending business plans and making appointments with bank employees are simply skipped by Bizner. All business people Bizner has talked to declared that they did not want to be dependent on opening schedules or personnel availability. “That is why we created a bank as a self-service shop, which allows the customer to save much time and trouble. Therewith, Bizner is the only online business bank where you can purchase your financial products directly through the Internet”, Klemann says.
For the technical implementation and management of their international online banks, Rabobank have selected the Dutch innovative outsourcing company Schuberg Philis at the end of 2004. Now for the Bizner Bank on the Dutch business market, again Schuberg Philis is the IT outsourcing partner. Schuberg Philis focuses solely on the implementation and on total control of mission critical applications and infrastructures for companies who require a high measure of availability and professional risk management next to their ability to respond quickly and in a flexible manner to a changing business environment.
Klemann: “The art is to create a balance between operational continuity and the flexibility to make adjustments in a controlled but effective manner where the business requires this, while maintaining a very keen sense of costs. By making use of a specialized IT outsourcing partner, a high measure of efficiency, rapidity and quality may be achieved, so that we can permanently meet the high banking and business standards.”
Pim Berger, Managing Director of Schuberg Philis, is very enthusiastic about the strategic co-operation with the Bizner Bank. Berger: “Time and again, it is unique to see how effective this model is, by which we succeed in implementing and managing a highly demanding transactional banking and Internet environment through an integrated approach. This is now the case for Bizner, Rabobank's new and innovative Internet bank for the business market. It is only possible to achieve such a ‘time-to-market' and high quality level with specialized parties.”
