‘Weekendjeweg.nl' renews contract for 4 years with Schuberg Philis

Fast and 'right first time' changes for an all-inclusive fixed fee leads to renewal of contract

 Amsterdam, 10 October 2007 - Bookit, a subsidiary of the Holidaybreak Group and provider of the successful website ‘Weekendjeweg.nl', has renewed its outsourcing contract with Schuberg Philis for another four years. Schuberg Philis will remain responsible for managing Bookit's business-critical internet environment, supporting their online sales via www.Weekendjeweg.nl, www.BungalowS.nl, www.Hotelletje.nl, www.Citytripper.nl and www.Nachtjeweg.nl.

Bookit is the market leading online intermediary for short stay leisure hotel breaks in the Netherlands. As of May 2001, the website ‘Weekendejeweg.nl' has been continually in the top 10 of most visited travel sites in the Netherlands. This website underlines the importance of internet in booking holidays; it has a conversion rate of two bookings per 100 visitors and 50.000 unique visitors a day. The website ‘Weekendjeweg.nl' has won amongst others the prize for best website of the year 2006. Over the last three years, Schuberg Philis improved Bookit's mission critical internet infrastructure and at the same time placed strong emphasis on integration of service management. As a result of this integration, Bookit can execute changes rapidly without compromising control or 100% availability. Bookit can therefore keep pace with constant developments in the industry and even remain ahead of competitors.
