New Customer Operations Manager at Schuberg Philis

Schiphol-Rijk, 25 March 2008 - Schuberg Philis, a provider of mission critical outsourcing services, appointed Maurice van der Meij as Customer Operations Manager.

Before joining Schuberg Philis, Van der Meij worked for UPC Romania Chief Information Officer (CIO) based at Bucharest . In this role, he was responsible for merging the IT-systems of a company acquisition and integration of project deliverables with UPC Headquarters application systems and local Romanian systems. Van der Meij holds a Master degree in Science.

Prior to his tenure at UPC Romania, Van der Meij was Senior Project Manager Architecture & Solution Definition at UPC. He worked on the pan-European implementation of UPC's business application platform which covered ERP, CRM and Provisioning amongst other business functions. During the 8.5 years Van der Meij worked for UPC, he made a positive impression in various departments throughout the company including several positions such as Project Manager and Manager Supply Chain Management, and participated in significant UPC outsourcing deals.

His inner drive was always the same: improving the laborious and tough (outsourcing) relationship between supplier and customer by establishing long-term relationships with everybody involved.

Customer Operations Manager
Maurice van der Meij joins the Schuberg Philis team as Customer Operations Manager (COM). Working as a COM is about being at the forefront of customer services. The COM is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, managing details of outsourcing contracts and the customer team, consisting of senior engineers all with wide relevant fields of expertise.
