New Customer Operations Manager at Schuberg Philis

Amsterdam, November 17 2003 - Schuberg Philis, a Dutch provider of mission critical outsourcing services, has appointed a new Customer Operations Manager. From December 1 2003, Janot van Wegen, former E-Business Manager at Colt Telecom Nederland, will join the Schuberg Philis team.

Van Wegen worked at Colt Telecom Nederland as E-Business Manager and Professional Services E-Business Manager. In this role, he was responsible for the following departments: Pre-Sales Support and Project Management, Engineering and Product Development, and E-Business Operations (24x7). Prior to this, he worked as a Managing Consultant and Technical Product Manager Hosting Services at KPN Telecom BV and as Head of Automation at Kentron Adviesgroep BV (a subsidiary of Aegon). Van Wegen has built up extensive experience of managing both clients and engineering teams within an outsourcing contract in the area of mission critical applications.

Customer Operations Manager
At Schuberg Philis, the Customer Operations Manager is the most important contact point for the client and the engineering team. Responsibilities for this position include managing the costs and details of outsourcing contracts and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Van Wegen: "One of the reasons that companies have doubts about outsourcing is that they would ideally like to have their own in-house team for mission critical IT applications. However, this is usually extremely expensive and it is difficult to find qualified engineers. To help companies realize the wish for their own team, Schuberg Philis works with completely dedicated customer teams.
